The retail price of a hand-crafted Box Bike starts at $4,300 - with demo bikes (if available) usually costing $3,900. The bikes are also available to rent for $250 for one week with the cost of the rental applied to the sale price if a renter decides to become a buyer. Whether one rents or buys there is free delivery of the bike anywhere in Santa Clara County.

Do you ship Box Bike?
The mission of this company is to focus on the Bay Area as it is where the bike is made and - true to anyone who has lived here - a place in desperate need of more bikes and fewer cars. That said, we are in the process of finding a partner willing to help us crate and ship the bike to interested buyers.
Do you make bikes to order?
Not at this time. Due to the current workload, the only bikes available for sale are ones which are already completed. Check to see what is in our current inventory.
What about electric assist?
Every Box Bike is sold with Tektro hydraulic brakes which are e-assist compatible. This means that when you squeeze the brakes the motor cuts out. Battery mounts are also included on the frame. So if you live in a hilly area or want to ride further, you can shop for an electric assist option that works for you and put the DIY into DIYBIKING.COM!
